Qafqaz Riverside Resort in Azerbaijan Set for Major Refurbishment

The Gilan Holding Group (GHG) is focused on promoting tourism in Azerbaijan by expanding the country’s hospitality properties. The group is doing a soft refurbishment of the Qafqaz Riverside Resort Hotel as part of a larger program of work. GHG is working closely with Stirling Hospitality Advisors as the owner’s representative and lead asset manager. Our team is providing project management and cost consultancy services from design through to completion. The Qafqaz project is the first of several endeavors GHG is initiating to enhance the quality of hotel accommodation in the Gabala region.

The hotel will remain operational throughout the renovation, which is expected to be completed in December 2023. The refurbishment includes upgrades to 96 guest rooms and 27 suites, public areas, food and beverage outlets, the spa, indoor and outdoor pools and exterior landscaping.
