A five-star luxury hotel in Dubai, UAE.

The project was split into two phases to allow the hotel to continue operations during the renovations. The operator’s requirement was to complete the construction works during the off-peak seasons over the course of two summers. MHPM_Driver’s role included the validation of the design brief, prequalifying consultants, managing RFP’s, and selection of the lead and interior designers. Our team also provided stakeholder management, budget control, tender management and award of contractors, construction supervision, and liaison with the operator during construction to close-out. Given the inherent risks involved with renovation, our team deployed a structured risk management approach which relied on highly-integrated and collaborative communication. During the construction phase, our team adopted a hands-on approach to all aspects of delivery including monitoring of material procurement and freight, off-site production monitoring, and weekly steering committee meetings to encourage decision-making. The project was delivered ahead of time and under budget.
