The City of Cambridge secured $19.5 million in provincial funding for its new recreation complex in south Cambridge, as well as $1 million for upgrades to the Preston Memorial Auditorium and Ayr Community Centre. The funding comes from the Government of Ontario’s Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF).

The new 112,000 sq. ft. complex will feature a 10-lane competition pool, therapy pool, three gyms, fitness areas, multi-purpose rooms, a walking and running track, concession and public library. It will also have inclusive, family-friendly spaces, such as a nursing room and a sensitivity room for children who need a quiet space. The complex will provide residents with modern, accessible spaces for exercise, play and community events.

We are proud to support the City of Cambridge in delivering this transformative multi-use recreation complex. By supporting the city in securing CSRIF funding and providing Project Management and Furniture, Equipment Planning and Move Readiness services, we remain committed to bringing this important community hub to life.
