Hamilton Urban Core’s New Community Health Centre offers inner-city residents reliable, safe and equitable access to essential health and social care services. Since the opening of the two-storey community hub, Hamilton Urban Core increased its capacity to serve the community by 50 percent.

Aurora’s Town Square project will combine culture and history to create a vibrant community hub. A performance hall, arts studio and multipurpose rooms will nurture community arts, while the outdoor square will include an interactive water feature, Amphitheatre and other amenities year-round.

Hamilton Health Sciences is redeveloping its West Lincoln Memorial Hospital site to improve and increase space for acute, emergency and ambulatory care. The new hospital will continue to provide specialized care to the West Niagara region and will offer a new Indigenous ceremonial and healing space.

The First Nations Health Authority partnered with Helicopters Without Borders to increase the number of reliable air access points in First Nations communities across BC. The first phase of this initiative will bring essential air emergency and healthcare services to 11 remote communities.
