The Town of Ingersoll’s new Multi-Use Recreation Centre (MURC) is underway.
This major project will replace the town’s 1957 arena with a modern, inclusive and accessible facility designed to meet the community’s evolving needs. The new centre will include a walking track, gymnasium, single-pad arena with the ability to expand to a double pad, a multipurpose hall and community rooms — all shaped by community input through a Recreation Facility Needs Study.
The campus design also features a proposed new school and daycare facility in partnership with the Thames Valley District School Board and a long-term care home in collaboration with peopleCare.
The town expects to open the new MURC in 2027 to meet strict funding timelines.
Our Colliers Project Leaders team is proudly supporting the Town of Ingersoll with full project management services for the MURC, guiding the project from infrastructure planning and design through to construction and operational readiness. In collaboration with municipal project staff and partners, we are focused on the successful delivery of this key recreation and development initiative.
