We are closely monitoring developments related to the global COVID-19 (also known as the Novel Coronavirus) pandemic. While we have directed all employees to work from home as a precautionary measure and to support social distancing, our business remains open. Our dedicated project management teams across Canada remain available to support our clients and help execute project initiatives necessary to manage business continuity.
At this time, a primary focus for our organization is the health and safety of our employees, clients, business partners and the communities in which we operate.
In addition to following guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada and local health authorities, we are taking several precautionary measures to protect our staff, clients and partners. These include:
- Directing all employees to work from home and follow self-monitoring and self-isolation guidelines
- Creating a COVID-19 Task Force to monitor the situation and develop responses that will best prepare our staff and clients to manage effects of the outbreak
- Halting all business travel and attendance at business-related events
- Asking employees to conduct client meetings virtually in support of social distancing guidelines. We will continue to review these policies and align with the latest health guidance.
- Initiating deep-cleaning of our offices while employees work remotely
- Communicating regularly with staff and our clients, as the situation continues to evolve
We will continue to do all we can to contribute to the safety of our communities. We recognize that these are challenging circumstances, and are working with other organizations and Colliers businesses worldwide to share best practices and resources.
Please contact your Colliers Project Leaders professional or email us if you have questions or need additional assistance. Our teams are fully equipped for remote work and collaboration, and are ready to support you and your organization.
