The highly anticipated Grandview Kids Jerry Coughlan Building opened its doors in November. Located in the Town of Ajax, the building is a state-of-the-art Children’s Treatment Centre that will provide a variety of critical services to more than 6,000 children and youth annually.
“The New Grandview Kids is a beacon of hope, excellence, belonging and discovery,” said Tom McHugh, Chief Executive Officer, Grandview Kids. “This new space will enable Grandview Kids to enhance and expand existing services and introduce new ones, serving children and youth with communication, physical and developmental needs throughout the Durham Region for generations to come.”
This project was possible thanks to the Town of Ajax, which donated more than five acres of land to Grandview Kids, the Ontario provincial government’s $85.3 million investment, a federal grant through Infrastructure Canada, and contributions raised through Grandview Kids Foundation’s community fundraising. Colliers Project Leaders’ Angela Strazzeri, Clint Cameron and Janella Lasam attended the ribbon cutting ceremony with other regional and provincial government representatives.
Our team is proudly providing project management services for this project.
