Colliers Project Leaders is pleased to announce we have been selected as Infrastructure Ontario’s (IO) new Project Management Service Provider (PMSP). In this role, we will provide best-in-class project management, program management and other real property services for the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure’s General Real Estate Portfolio (GREP). The portfolio includes 4,300 buildings and 150,000 acres of land serving Ontarians in more than 362 municipalities.

Our organization secured this six-year PMSP mandate, with an option for four additional years, following an open, competitive proposal and evaluation process. The work includes managing high-complexity projects from inception to completion, including project design, construction and commissioning phases, primarily using a Design-Bid-Build contract model for designers and contractors.

This PMSP contract extends a long-standing partnership with IO that began with an initial agreement in 2008. For more than 15 years, we have worked with IO to successfully deliver more than 3,600 projects, including hospital expansions, healthcare centres, courthouses, building conversions and other critical infrastructure. We have consistently met and exceeded IO’s requirements while driving continual improvements and efficiencies. In addition, our organization uniquely supports IO with a full complement of optional services including advisory, pre-construction and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) planning.

“It is our privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to IO’s success as it modernizes the province’s infrastructure and real estate portfolio for the benefit of all Ontarians,” said Olivia MacAngus, President and CEO, Colliers Project Leaders. “We look forward to delivering ongoing value for IO and its ministry partners with this new mandate through our dedicated team of qualified professionals.”

Colliers Project Leaders is currently transitioning to its expanded IO role with full-service delivery expected by spring 2024.
