The City of Vernon is proceeding with a new Active Living Centre to meet the current and future needs of its growing community and to attract new residents and visitors to the Greater Vernon area. The mixed-use indoor facility will provide accessible, inclusive activities for participants of all ages and abilities and will be net-zero ready.

Expected to open in September 2026, the city adopted an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model for the centre and selected our experienced IPD and Lean team to provide IPD Advisory services. Vernon City Council endorsed the collaborative IPD process as the best framework to ensure the Active Living Centre maintains a strong focus on accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability; creates a fun and family-friendly environment; and remains within its $121 million budget.
