The 2021 Toronto Urban Design Awards (TUDA) received over 170 submissions for innovative infrastructure projects across the city. Of these, 26 projects were recognized as outstanding contributions to Toronto’s cityscape and presented with awards across nine categories.

TUDA is a collaborative city building initiative between the development and design community and the City of Toronto. Every two years, the city recognizes significant contributions that architects, landscape architects, urban designers, artists, city builders and design students make to the appearance and livability of the city.

This year, the city recognized four of our projects across three categories:

Montcrest School Redevelopment | Award of Excellence – Private Buildings in Context – Low-Scale (pg. 13)

Centennial College Downsview Campus Centre for Aerospace and Aviation | Award of Excellence – Large Places and/or Neighbourhood Designs (pg. 25)

Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex | Award of Merit – Public Buildings in Context (pg. 44)

Canoe Landing Community Campus | Award of Merit – Public Buildings in Context (pg. 46)

We are proud to have played a role in the development of these innovative projects for the City of Toronto. Congratulations to all of the teams involved!
