Toronto Metropolitan University Expands Skyward with Mixed-Use Development
Toronto Metropolitan University’s (formerly Ryerson University) mixed-use, 45-storey 202 Jarvis Street Development will provide additional academic space, as well as much needed affordable living for its downtown Toronto student population. The project is being delivered using the IPD model.
Algoma University Honours Indigenous History and Cultural Rebirth
To honour First Nations, Metis and Inuit children, survivors and communities, Algoma University and the Children of Shingwauk are embarking on a project that acknowledges Indigenous history and celebrates Indigenous culture through its Makwa Waakaa’igan Centre for Cross-Culture Excellence.
Centennial College A-Building Expansion: Canada’s First Zero-Carbon Mass Timber Institution
Centennial Colleges new, state-of-the-art structure includes 1,057 individual pieces of locally sourced, cross- and glue-laminated Canadian timber. The use of timber is a conscious and sustainable decision, as the facility’s design also incorporates WELL, LEED and Net Zero Carbon elements to ensure that the building’s operations produce no emissions.
