Roadmap to Manage City Infrastructure - City of Penticton
In 2016, the City of Penticton identified much of its infrastructure – from roads to utilities to buildings – had either reached the end of its useful life or was seriously underfunded. The City realized that a more fundamental, financially sustainable approach is required to determine where best to invest in the renewal of city assets on a proactive basis.
The Colliers Project Leaders Infrastructure Advisory team leads a review of the city’s assets and services to determine how to best achieve maximum use. Our team defines a clear approach and an actionable roadmap to manage city assets and services that are of value to the community.

City Asset Portfolio Management - The World Bank
The World Bank Group launched a program to support selected cities in Europe and Asia to evaluate its existing asset management practices and to better understand its associated strengths and opportunities. The Municipality of Tirana (Albania) and the Canton of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) have been selected for the initial phase of this Program. The goal is to reposition these cities as globally attractive, economically vibrant, and sustainable urban centers.
The Colliers Project Leaders Infrastructure Advisory team reviews city infrastructure and real property assets for the purpose of identifying opportunities to achieve cost savings, increase revenues and decrease risk exposure. The analysis includes facility management, leasing, space occupancy planning, acquiring space for relocations, decision-making regarding underutilized and surplus assets, portfolio analysis, and the creation of a shortlist of appropriate metrics and dashboard for decision-makers.

Upgrading BCIT's PM Maturity
British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) developed a new progressive enterprise-wide project management delivery approach. This approach will meet the increased demand for new investments and help to complete essential facility construction projects more efficiently.
The Colliers Project Leaders Infrastructure Advisory team developed new methodologies, governance models, and decision-making processes to improve the organization’s PM maturity.
